Do I need to install any software or drivers?

Negative. The HAXSTIK operates purely as a hardware-level HID and CDC device. The Payload Studio is hosted entirely on the device's internal Wi-Fi chip. No installation on the target PC or your phone is required.

Will antivirus or EDR detect the HAXSTIK?

Since the HAXSTIK is recognized by the operating system as a standard physical keyboard (via Identity Spoofing), it generally bypasses software-level AV and EDR solutions that monitor software behavior rather than physical human input.

Does it work on macOS and Linux?

Yes. The HAXSTIK is cross-platform compatible. The onboard OS includes specific command sets for Windows, macOS, Linux, and even Android environments.

How does the data exfiltration (Loot) work?

We utilize a hidden CDC Serial communication channel. Your payload can write data directly to the COM port, which the HAXSTIK intercepts and saves directly to its onboard SPIFFS memory.

Can I hide the Wi-Fi network it creates?

Yes. The OS features a 'Stealth Mode' toggle. Once activated, the SSID will not broadcast, making it invisible to standard Wi-Fi scanners. You will need to connect to it manually by entering the SSID name.

Is the Haxstik open-source?

No. While we utilize community-standard languages like DuckyScript, the HAXSTIK OS V8.2 and its firmware are proprietary software engineered specifically for our hardware architecture to ensure maximum stability and speed.

How much payload storage is available?

The device utilizes an internal SPIFFS partition. Since text payloads and log files are incredibly small (usually a few kilobytes), you can store hundreds of payload scripts and extensive keylogger data without running out of space.

Is this device legal to use?

HAXBD tools are designed exclusively for authorized red teamers, penetration testers, and security researchers. You must only deploy these tools on systems you own or have explicit, documented permission to audit.
